I often use a Dotted 8th delay (it's almost written in the bible for modern contemporary worship music)

I also often find i'm picking notes which I should leave for the delay to 'play'

Cosmin touched on rhythmic delays in his Dead Letter Circus lesson.

But a lesson looking at different delay times against the tempo, what they calculate to in terms of beats 1/4 note, 16th note Dotted etc

and ideas of how to use them, to create interesting rhythm tracks.

I'll post songs in this thread of delay ideas

I know the guys in Hillsong United often use a dotted 8th going into a 1/4 note delay or in parallel.

Then of course you've got The Edge

Great idea!! When I'm exploring this type of things it's easier for me to do it with the simple delay that comes with Nuendo or Cubase that allos you to synchronize it with the tempo of the protect and set it in 1/4, 1/8, 1/4 triplets and all the other variations... I will explore this more to share my ideas. Thanks for the request!
