Talks about his new album, touring plans and general life in Japan. Preview of his new album, QUOTE "Inferno" will include several collaborations with players influenced by FRIEDMAN, including Alexi Laiho (Children of Bodom), Revocation guitar whiz David Davidson and the flamenco/metal acoustic duo Rodrigo y Gabriela. In addition, the album includes FRIEDMAN's first songwriting collaboration with Jason Becker since the pair played together in the pioneering duo of guitar mayhem, Cacophony.

I remember a bio of Mr.Big. They had to make career in Japan to get famous (become appreciated) in U.S.A. I remember a lot of awesome guitar players playing their biggest gigs in Japan since I was a kid. There is some awesomeness in this country and the way it's open for guitar music
