GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ My New Original Song With Vocals

Hey guys,
I finally did it and recorded an original song with vocals.
A little fun-punk tune, and I even mention the GMC chat in the song!
It was all written and recorded on sunday and it's pretty much a one-take, meaning I recorded every take once and since I liked the result, I didn't polish anything

Das Hef! Du bis genial! AS I said on Facebook, I really enjoyed the lyrics but as I said, maybe you should've played around with the key a bit so that you would feel more in a comfort zone

To answer coffeemans question: yes, she heard it first and said it was ok to show it to "your guitar lunatics" (end of quote).
She actually thought it was a funny song and mentioned: "so...you complained about Taylor Swift but now wrote a song about your Ex as well?"...can't argue with that, she has a point there.

Writing funny lyrics full of meaning and word games is an absolute art! I totally recommend you to check out Freak Kitchen - Mattias Eklundh's band, as he is as funny and inspirational in lyrics as he is in his guitar playing
