Hi,
I'm really new to Midi Controllers and so here are a few Newbiequestions:

Let's assume I got the following setup:

- Behringer FCB 1010 (Midi Controller)
- Line6 Pod X3
- Digitech Whammy4

Is it possible to use the FCB 1010 to activate the Line6's Delay/Phaser/Whatever AND the Whammy's Octave Up functions simultaneously with just one button?
If so how do I connect these devices?
the FCB and the POD both have Midi-IN and Midi-OUT, but the Whammy just has Midi-IN

I don't need a complete tutorial on how to do this, just cable-management and a hint how to programm this.

Thanks in advance,
Daniel

Hi!
I got a Fender Stratocaster Mexico which now is approximately 15 years in my possession and, well, it has the scars to prove it.
Nothing big, but the volumeknobs are worn down an yellowish and I really like to replace the pickguard, which leaves one problem:
The removal of said knobs.
What's the trick?
Really, do I not pull strong enough????
I don't want to damage anything (except for the knobs)
If anybody has the slightest hint I would really appreciate it.
Thanks.

I need some help here guys, I'm totally stuck.

So far I'm recording with the following setup:
Guitar -> Zoom G7.UT -> Recording Computer
and planning to to smth similar live:
Guitar -> Zoom G7.UT -> PA

But I'm not really happy with the G7's Distortian, especially the fact that you can't choose AMP-Simulation and Distortion seperately, and plugging in an Ibanez Tubescreamer before or after the Zoom didn't sound very well, too.

So there are different ways to get around this problem as far as I can see:

1. simply get another Multieffect with better Distortion
2. get the effectboards seperately, which will mean I need a preamp (right?)
3. get a "normal" Amp (maybe this: http://www.musik-produktiv.de/laney-lx-120...alf-stack.aspx) and use a microphone to record the Amp's output instead of just plugging in the Zoom

Summed up, I search for a good (and affordable) way to record my stuff AND play it live without big differences in the sound.

What would be the Pros and Cons of the three possibilities and are there other ones?
I'm kinda new to the recording stuff; what I'm doing sounds pretty well, except for the Distortion-possibilities.

Thanks in advance,
Daniel

Hi!
I'm planning to go live with my band in October/December.
I don't have any clue what kind of equipment I will need other than my guitar.

A Marshall Top?
A Combo?
1 Box?
2 Boxes?
None of the above???
How much Watt?

I really need help.

The venues we will be entertaining will all have PA, so I do need the amp only for monitoring.
Right?
