A very self explanatory title to this thread..

Some of your usernames are quite obvious They might be your name or the initials of yor name, but others are less obvious.. a collection of letters or numbers.. or just weird words that us instructors don't know how to pronounce when you enter the chatroom laugh.gif

So, if you're happy to share.. what does your username mean/what inspired it ?

Gitarrero seems to be a common term around german musicians for a guitar player...my bandmates used to call me so when I first joined the band.
Still, I like the fact that most instructors and students here know me by my real name now wink.gif

Testtube Mammoth is the name of my solo project. We write progressive conceptual tracks about mammoths being brought back to life in the present day.
Storyboarding like this helps me to write structured stuff, the mammoth thing is just an idea i had a few years ago that I thought was kinda cool.

Almost the same word in spanish means "guitarist", it's written guitarrero.

Inspired by the song below. It's just a tongue in cheek that I would be thought of as a good Poster Boy or Role Model for anything.

I was given the name Sensible Jones after recording a Demo with the band I was in at the time. The other guitarists brother used to write a lot of our lyrics and so, straight after recording it, we took the Demo to him to listen to. After 3 or 4 listens he couldn't decide whether my playing reminded him more of Steve Jones (Sex Pistols) or Captain Sensible (The Damned) and so Sensible Jones was born! Since then all my Music, Comedy and Internet projects are done as SJ!!!
