Hi! I'm graduating this year and for a few years I've been thinking about moving to Canada from Poland. My martial arts instructor lives there and when we first met he offered his help for anyone that's interested. My university also has a Canadian department and the professor will help me as well if I decide. The thing is I'm not sure if that's what I want.

Is there anyone at GMC who's Canadian? I'd be happy to hear your opinion about daily life there, etc. to help me decide smile.gif

I found it today, so you may have already seen it. I've learned new things, most importantly I realized that the way I've been doing vibrato was WRONG in one aspect, so this should improve from now on smile.gif

Some time ago Steve Vai published his guitar theory book that's supposed to be useful for both beginners and advanced self-taught players. Finally one bookstore in Poland has decided to import some of these and the price is about 70% of what it costs at Amazon after converting currencies.

The question is: should I get one copy? I'm sure I will learn something but if anyone at GMC has it or at least skim read it, could you please tell me if it's any good?

Some time ago I got a new guitar but soon after I got bad days and didn't feel like enjoying it properly. So I'm sharing it today!

It's my very first 24-fret and it's got a super thin neck. It's very much on par with Ibanez Prestige RG series, I compared them side by side but it's much cheaper due to OEM Floyd bridge. What else can I say? There are DD OEM pickups based on Jazz Neck and JB but I've already found a buyer for those and I'll put in my Merlin Legend set. And it came with a solid flight case that fits my other guitars too. That was a great bargain!

I'm slowly getting used to it but I have no idea about maintenance of FR guitars, so any help will be most appreciated smile.gif

It's quite interesting to watch, so I thought I'd share it smile.gif
