Hey guys,

Here the BT and GP5 will come. I've contacted Smells about the BT and there's a little delay on that, I think it's done tomorow, so more clearance then!

UPDATE: Ok guys, green light Here's the backing track and GP5 with our names in it!
Coffeeman: I hope you understand what I did in the GP5 files with the names.
Kyldee: easy for you, just check under the Kyldee tab

What are we gonna do after the Solo? You guys can see in the GP5 that I just went on regular and the whole second part of the outro is given to Coffeeman, just because it's to hard for me Maybe we can just do the verse and chorus after the solo and then fade it out? Just to make it a bit easier

I also wanted to say that I see that I've given myself quit a big share, is this a problem? The main riff is quit a lot of guitar, and with the vocals, maybe you guys feel like I'm just giving myself all the advance I can. If you feel so pls tell the rest of our vb! Coffeeman, I just gave you the hard pieces, because I can't do them very well

Any comments pls tell! it's not me, it's we

Little thingy, I belive the intro and first verse, so the part untill coffee kicks in, is 14 time the main riff.. That's quit a strange number, and quit a strange number... And not right.. I'll PM Smells, maybe he can make a correct one. This one is just for practice then. It should be 8 times main riff and then the chorus riff...

Let's rock this ! If you wanna play your part, and there is no rhythm guitar atm, then download the midi I posted. Just go into reaper, or whatever, and click on insert music. Then click the midi. You'll get the instrumentes! Just only delete the part you want to do (probably the solo for Kyldee) and play it! Then just put your take on the BT that Smells made! Then you do have the rhythm guitar.

UPDATE: I just saw the BT is still not quit right... No probs! We'll get it going I have them mixed, but as I said it's not totaly right yet!^{not right}

Yeah it just came to my head, when I was practicing the original, but maybe it's too heavy riff for this song

The bass is really quiet on the BT, you can bearly hear it... Or am I going def

Cramps.... I recorded yesterday, with improved backing. I addes some phaser and compression and stufff... And then I turned off the pc without saving... ***

Hey guys, here's my take, and a better version of the BT. I added a take with some additional effects, do you like the added effects?? I stopped playing just before the chorus, before the solo. If we wanna dd solos, we can always change this!

So this post contains:
My take with BT and Effects
My take with BT, but without the added effects
My take without BT, just to have it online when we start mixing
The new BT, called BT2

Great job Kaz I liked the the one with the effects more, it sounded more clearer....

ehm.. we first have the intro and verse. That's eigth times the riff, then four times the riff.... and then when I start again, I believe it's your turn It's exactly as the orginal, but I'll see what the time is. just a minute

EDIT: I think it's exactly as you said you can check youtube to be sure, the solo should kick in right after a verse.
EDIT2: I just heard I made some editing mistakes, cutting the sound very hard! I don't have the Reaper file (stupid....) so I'll just keep it like this if that's ok with ya guys. In the mix we can edit it if we think it's needed after al

Kind a slow actually, haven't practiced the song that much, cause of the guitar problem ( which is settled now tho ) and because I was on the night shift whole last week, and just couldn't find time to play that much...

Hi guys...

I have some bad news for ya
Due to some changes, and problems in my personal life, I haven't been able
to spend time on the forums that much lately, and the guitar has sat on the corner for
weeks now... And also I have to go to the army in two months, so that makes my life
a lot more hectic, and have a lot of things to taken care of before that... So due to this
I think it's best that I left the VB, cause I just simply don't have the time to concentrate
on anything like this right know, and I would just be holding you guys back.

Wow, you must be pretty busy right now then! Of course I (and I think I can speek for Coffeeman aswell on this matter ) do not hate you at all! You're the guy that past me quit a cool setting for my Korg

Just get busy with your life, that's way more important than some internet buddy's. Good luck with everything, and just out of interest, do you have to go to the army, or is it because you want to?

Yeah, my life is really hectic at the moment, on top of that, I had a work accident yesterday, and somehow
hurt my shoulder/chest area, and the doctor said it could be tendonitis or sum, so no guitar It's not easy....

Great to hear that you enjoy the settings

About the army, in Finland we have to serve in the army, which sucks...
There are some options, on what you can do, for example you can serve
your time in some civil duty... In other case you'll go to prison, but I don't think
that's the case anymore, I think they cancelled that law...

I'll try to roam the forums as much as I can, tho it's not easy to write with only one hand...
But I'm not going to work in a couple of days ( because of the arm ) so, I'll try to catch up some theory maybe....

Nop sorry, I have a quit hard to use little korg AX5G The interface is just a number, or one letter. That means when I take an amp, the settings of the amp are P1, P2 and P3, meaning Parameter 1, 2 and 3. I don't remember waht these P's are so it's quite hard to get a nice tone. Solution is to take the booklet. OC didn't plan on making his own solo. I'll add two bars for you then I'm going to get it done this afternoon or evening!
