Hehe, we strat fans. This is mine. Fender USA Made Stratocaster Roadhouse. Made in 1998 or 1997 in the USA Corona Plant. It was 100% new when I bought it, stock with Texas Special Pickups, so it is an New Old Stock. Wikipedia on New Old Stock: New Old Stock (abbreviated NOS) are old parts for obsolete equipment that have never been sold at retail.[1]

The term refers to merchandise being offered for sale which was manufactured long ago but that has never been used. Such merchandise may not be produced anymore, and the new old stock may represent the only market source of a particular item at the present time.

How cool? biggrin.gif Click the pic's to make em larger and more pretty!
The guitar is not new, well, I've had it since July last year, just showing my guitar.

beautiful guitar mate, I borrowed a Roadhouse strat from a friend of mine a few years ago, he was trying to sell it at the time, although to this day I still say to him "why did you sell it?!"

I enjoyed playing it for a while but unfortunatly didnt have the funds for it then and some lucky so n so got a great bargain on ebay!

awesome! smile.gif

Nice strat man !
Wondering if it souds as good as it looks smile.gif

A friend of mine got the luxury of owning a (30 year old) stratocaster.
Gonna try that one for sure when I get the chance!

He's fixing it at the moment though, hasn't been used for a long while and it needs some things replaced.

Great looking strat, brougham!

I have to admit that it was years of listening to the hot glassy sounds of british space rock blues that made me buy mine.
