Which video software are you using ?

I can recomend you Sony Vegas , is very easy to use.

I think you can do it on Windows movie maker too.

You can use both Movie Maker or Vegas, as coffeeman suggested. I recommend Vegas, cause it's more flexible. There is Sony Vegas Movie Studio Version that is around 50$ but worth the price.

I think he meant sync video in any application with backing track from Nuendo, but I could be wrong. unsure.gif

First of all you will need the video editing software for that. Windows move maker can be used , but I would recommend a more advanced one like Sony Vegas.

These are the steps when doing syncing.

1. You should have the video with the sound from the webcam ready.Load it in the video editing software and put it into the timeline there.
2. Import your backing track into the video editing software (good audio track you recorded with Nuendo).
3. Open a new audio track channel in the timeline of the video editing software and place your backing track from nuendo there.
4. Now you should expand both audio tracks views in the timeline in order to better see the audio signal and peaks.
5. Move the backing track in the timeline (left and right) to match peaks in both sound sources (web cam sound and nuendo backing). You want to get a perfect match in both audio tracks. (peaks in the audio signal should be your guideline).Once you hear two audio tracks sounding as one (and in sync) you are done.
6. Disable (mute) the audio track with the web cam sound in your video editing software's timeline. Backing track from nuendo should be in perfect sync with the video by now.
7. Export the new video file with the new audio track included.

This process can be done in any video editing software.

Hope this helps!
