I recently purchased an american strat.My favorite strings are DRs.
Is there another brand that works better on strats?

It all depends on what you like.

I like Ernie Ball and D'Addario strings

GHS, Dean Markley, Elixer, and DR are all good also.

I like the feel of DR,and tone also.I guess i'm searching for the perfect
tone for my strat.

You should try Ernie Ball strings sometime. Many many professionals use them. I like them a lot also, I think you would think the same.
