It's only had a set of Pickups added.
Work it out this way...
Original price = £550.
Pickups = £200+ (although you can get these discounted from certain suppliers when bought as a complete set rather than individually!)

Then, take away 25-30% for general wear and tear and it not being brand new and you're back to the original £500-550 figure. Sounds like a good deal to me, especially loaded with those Antiquity's, they're great sounding pickups!!

It might also be that they need a a quick sale to get on with their next project!

Highway one is one of the entry models in the american made Strats, the prize is bout 550 new, so 450 with new pups seems to be the right prize- eg. I dont consider it unordinary "cheap".

It's a fairly decent price for a Highway one with Antiquity pups in it. I would definitely try it out tho.. (actually I wouldn't I don't like the color) biggrin.gif

I sold a customised MIM strat for less than I bought it, it can actually reduce a guitars value if it has been modded!

Personally, I wouldnt get a highay one, the new american specials are much better for not much more dough!
