"Fact is, nothing in the world bores me more than gear...If I played thru your rig, I would still sound like me. Van Halen would sound like Van Halen. Brian May...etc. Very early in my career I decided to focus on creating music and not being a guitar tech. Being a good guitar tech is a very different and extremely difficult job, so why not leave it to a pro?"

Axl is the only remaining original GnR member left so you can imagine how well the album is going to go. When Slash left, the guns in guns n roses turned to revolvers. Velvet ones.

Well, even though this album has been expected for like 10 years I still want to hear it...

I love GNR. However, GNR story is a little bit sad. Specially if you consider the separation, it is sad that the vocalist got the rights. Velvet revolver should be called GNR, and GNR should be called something else...

Mmmm I´m not a GnR fan but I´m a big fan of GnR new guitarrist Bumblefoot altough his music has isn´t like at all like guns, I want to hear what happens. You wont be happy if you already expect to be unhappy with the album release.

Thanks for the signature love tongue.gif

I mean, Megadeth is Dave Mustaine and a cast of hundreds, but Dave Mustaine is the major creative influence in the band and since does play some leads, and most rhythms, it works. I doubt someone who is as ego-maniacal but with such little control over the past creativity will basically be a hollow shell of the former lineup
