I recently rediscovered the simple joy of a game of cards ! In particular a game called Gin Rummy. No, it doesn't involve drinking Gin.

Are there any other card fans out there and what games do you take a shine to ?

It's fairly simple. Each player gets 10 cards. You lay your highest card down and whoever has the highest card takes those two cards. If the number is tied when the two cards are lay down you double up.

The player with the most cards at the end of the game wins.

Oh yeah and after you win you draw.

I occasionally play a friendly game of poker, but my favorite game is Tonk. Here is a good description of it:

I have been trying to learn how to play bridge, but I haven't quite got it yet! smile.gif
