Any Tips For Practicing Schedule

I've not beeing playing seriously for long, just about 3 weeks. I find myself playing the same thing over everyday. I would play the pentatonic scales up and down. then i could work on shifting scales to scales. I read somewhere that you dont need to know a lot of scales; therefore, I'm trying to get the pentatonic down before moving on. Next, I would work on sweeping for a while, then some legato. I practiced all of these with a metronome; however, I feel like I'm not improving at all. I feel like I'm just playing the same stuff over and over so I take a little break and go back at the same thing. Losing motivation so anyone have any idea what I should do?

Help With Legato

Im having trouble with legato. I just started for about two days on this and my problem is I cant seem to get a consistance loud sound with my hammered ons and pulled offs. It comes and goes. I tried hammering on harder but that didnt help. Any ideas?

Any Metronome Tips?

I've just joined GMC for about two weeks now and Kris said to practice with a metronome for every exercise; however, I'm having a difficult time getting use to it. It hard for me to keep it consistance. Any tips on how I can imporove?

Should I Move On?

[size=4]I joined gmc for about a week and a half ago and practiced for about 3hrs a day. Had a guitar for two years but never took it seriously till now. i can do everything in the beginning lessons at a good moderate speed; however, im having problems improvising around the pentatonic scales and creating licks. I was wondering if i needed to know anything else before moving on to a more advanced lesson. If i should move on which lesson should I move onto. Thanks
