Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Bending Ballad by Max Sokolov

Hey again guys! Here's my take at Max's Bending Ballad, one of the tougher lessons I've learned. I do have a couple flat bends in there I know and there is one missed note towards the end but I found the trickiest part was playing it 'quietly'. I could not get around what seemed like pretty excessive string noise and it really made me appreciate how quiet and clean Max played it. Looking forward to your comments as usual!

Hey Greg! Indeed, awesome rendition and aside from a few notes that didn't quite made it, I don't have anything else to add wink.gif

Anything which could be corrected that is biggrin.gif Keep rockiiiiing!

Killer take as always mate! Your tone and expression are always very enjoyable. There are some details regarding bending and some noises as you noticed but it's something that you will fix very soon. Keep on the great job! smile.gif

Wow, that's a great take, Greg! I was blown away by your tone!
Minor mistakes are happening because of lack of overrall control, just practice smile.gif

What I can suggest is to take a closer look at rythm of runs right before first two Fm chords, right now you have it quite far from original ones smile.gif
