One quick question for you muris about this lesson.
How woudl you count out the 16th and 16th triplets on a metronome.. Ex. (1234,1234) (123456,123456) |

Well 16th would be 1234 per beat and 16th triplets would be 123+123 per beat.
Actually I'm not "counting" it using digits,I just focus on how many notes to play,sort of. Matt,you make the move when YOU feel comfortable with it, those matters are 100% personal thing. If you can do it faster without loosing accuracy and power then why not? And if it doesn't go well,just go back to previous tempo,nothing to loose. Oh yeah,my first alternate picking lesson will surely help a bit,give it a try. More lessons you practice,more you'll gain from it, it's simple as that. Of course you need to fill your schedule wise without pushing yourself too hard, I'm sure you understand what I'm talking about.
