I highly recommend watching the episodes

"Dethtroll" and "Skwisklok", as those are some of the better ones. Lots of talented metal musicians make cameos in the show, even James Hettfield and Kirk Hammet stop by.

Anyone who does not see serious flaws is the quality of play of guys doing this sort of thing, well that is unfortunate, because of what it implies.

There are physical limits to how fast one can play and still play with quality. These types of carnival sideshows go way beyond that. Basically they get good with the pick, and make compromises with the left hand. You have a steady pick noise rhythm that is dominant, covering up the fact that he is not fretting things cleanly. Yes we can all play faster, if we make compromises to our quality of play. And I am supposed to be impressed with that?

If this guy can play like that and we can slow him down, and listen and hear individual notes all standing out clearly, I will be impressed. I will also be impressed if my dog can sing the Star Spangled Banner backwards.
