In your recording software (sequencer maybe or the software that comes with your toneport) select to use the correct ASIO driver for sound.

Check under preferences -> sound

As I said in my response to your PM Nick, forst you need recording software, and I suggest you download reaper (www.cockos.com).

Then you need to do what MickeM ssaid, for reaper you will find that option under:

Options/Preferences/Audio/Device

Make sure "Audio System" is set to ASIO, and the ASIO driver you select is your Toneport.

When you have done that, you can import the backing track using "Insert/Media File"

Then:

1. Set the temp to 100 BPM (there is a temp box above the mixer section)
2 create a new track - "Track/Add New Track"
3. Arm it (press the record arm button on the track)
4. Press record, and play along, you should see a waveform appear in your new track.

Good luck!
