I've been waiting for this for a while now. It looks to include all the best features of all the best Marks over the years and then some. I can't wait to buy one as this WILL be my next purchase.

I saw this, I'm curious as to whether the newer models come anywhere close to the older Marks. I've heard nothing but praise about Mark I's and II's, and occasionally III's, but I don't think I've even heard a mention of the Mark IV. I wonder if the V will have the same fate? Sounds great from the description, though, that's for sure!

My dream amp as of now is the Mesa Boogie Lonestar, I haven't had the chance to try one out yet, but everything I've heard about it sounds like just what I'm looking for - not to mention the whole Timmons attachment. biggrin.gif I have to admit, I'm a sucker for name-dropping. laugh.gif

Weird, I've really only heard praise over the Mark IV.

I talked to my guy at Mesa Boogie yesterday and found out that the Mark V will only be available in Europe in March so I will have to be patient... but I already asked for one so I can test it, so review should be possible wink.gif
