Decided to improvise over this backing last night because I found a really good Guitar Rig 4 tone. Def. some mistakes, but not a big deal smile.gif
David Walliman's Little Wing Lesson helped me a lot on this one. And I also wanted to throw out that I am 14 and would like to know if there are any other young(er) guitarists on GMC!
(also, for some odd reason my computer won't save the fade I put in at the end. Oh well)

Hey, RobK87.
Nice sounding take indeed. I listened to it a couple of times just to get a clear picture of the tone.
Your playing is great, especially for being 14, keep up the great work it sounds good.
I like the way the amp is right on the "edge" of distortion sounding clean most of the time, but breaking up nicely when you "step on it". I think it's very apropirate for this tune and also, a very expressive way to set up your amp, cause you can vary the tone with the dynamics of your playing. I've still got the take playing as I type, and I hear that you've got a lot of great chops and licks in here that do indeed remind me of SRV and Hendricks. At first thought that the delay could be more subtle and maybe it can, but during your improv, it sounds pretty cool.

I'm working on this one too (Little Wing). I'll record a take in a few weeks probably. Hearing your take, I'm inspired to try some improv over the backing track too. Keep rockin man.
