This morning there was message in Weezers bandpage that offered first 5000 likers iPad 2 for free. Ofcourse it was a scam but some thousand people didn't realize it. The admins have already removed the scampost but its too late. No Doubt and other bands have also been haxed some time ago.

I thought you where gonna warn them about facebook invading privacy, using face-recognition, and keeping peoples data even after you requested it to be removed. How anonymous hacking group is going to take them out in November 5th if they continue their evil ways...

Facebook has been selling information to government agencies and giving access to information security firms so that they can spy on people from all around the world.

Everything you do on Facebook stays on Facebook regardless of your "privacy" settings, and deleting your account is impossible, even if you "delete" your account, all your personal info stays on Facebook and can be recovered at any time.

Hackivist group Anonymous vows to “kill Facebook” on November 5, citing users’ lack of choice in privacy as its reason for attack.

So you have no need to worry about all them spam and scams on facebook anymore... Say bye bye social network? ohmy.gif

And all I wanted to do is chat with my old mates from school. blink.gif

But hey this is the modernworld nowdays. Everything you do is recorded. Paying with your creditcard, calls from your iPhone, showing you electronic bus ticked in the machine, if you have a brand new car Honda, Toyota, MB etc. is cathering info about you. What can you do... Move in the desert with tent and a shotgun ?

5000 free iPads? If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

This is the reason I don't understand people complaining about FB privacy issues. They've all agreed upon it while registering... what's the big idea? Alright, it's ok to complain, but stuff like this "Anonymous" group are threatening to do just seems pretty damn childish to me. "Your service isn't exactly what we want, so even though millions of people are fine with it, we're gonna CRASH IT! (insert a bwa ha ha here it you consider it suitable)"

Another thing, which is more like a personal feeling of mine, is that so what if someone knows all about me? Since they don't... they might have a crazy control over the net, but as soon as I pull the plug, they're powerless. All "they" would know is all the useless stuff like what music I like, whether I had a hangover last Saturday and so on. And I really don't care if someone knows with which hand I wipe after taking a dump - I mean, if someone gets their kicks out of that, keep on rocking!

But yeah, to the topic, scams suck. Yeah.

that's a pretty easy way to use scam on Facebook and it's so easy to "like" something that I guess many people just click.

I believe it's more elaborate then that, it's on a much higher level. Consciousness of human race is to be captured and recorded, and these are only the first steps.
