i like it better than any of the other multis out there...the fact that there are 2 tubes in the pre amp is cool, and it lets you make interesting tones

like all multis, there are a ton of useless and useful effects, they sound good to me at least...they give you more options that line 6 does...boss pedals are also good, the COSM modeling is really cool.

over all, i think you would really enjoy it...it also comes with Cubase...which was nice for me because i never had a recording program that could run VSTs and stuff like that, and couldnt afford it, so that was a plus.

just if you do get, spend some time with it....a lot of people ditch the pedal because they dont find the sound they like in the first hour or so...itll take you a while to dial in what you are looking for, but when you do, you are set smile.gif

and also, there are 3! yes 3! expression pedals! 1 for volume, 1 for effects, and then on the second one, the pedal can go side to side, allowing you to use 2 expression effects at once and controlling them at once! its really cool!

on a personal note, i ended up returning mine because the Vox amp i ordered with it sounded so good, that i didnt want to change the sound with a multi pedal. (it does not have an effects loop, so id have to send it through the front)

if my vox had an effects loop, i would have kept it for sure.

I have a g9.2tt for about 9 months now which I like very much (to perform with, not really for recording). All remarks already said are really trye and the tubes in the g9.2tt actually contribute nicely to the produced sounds.

The reason I don't particularly like it for recording is because the number of cabinet models/mic placements for recording is rather limited. But I will grab a POD Studio UX2 for that very soonish smile.gif.

In the 1990s I used a Zoom 9090 device as well, which certainly was much less quality for the money (both durability, and sound quality). In those days, Zoom has definitely the 'name' to be bad in terms of durability and support, but this certainly improved (on all aspects).

I could certainly recommend this product in general, however in the end you should try out for yourself which multi-effects is right for you (and what you actually want to achieve with it).

What is your current setup ? And why are you getting a multieffects unit , in comparason to for example stomp boxes pedalboard ?

This unit should be really good...But in the end it all depends what you need it for ?

Thanks for the help guys! Could u just tell me if the distortions on it can get brutal? cuz i've heard the bluesy patches and everything and it sounds awesome, i just haven't heard any really distorted patches

@ Bogdan: i'm currently a foreign exchange in the US so my gear is limited to a guitar and a small crappy amp..and i seriously don't have the cash to go buying stomp boxes separately..this Zoom i'm getting trough trading...not buying.

Can you try it out in a music shop? I would seriously recommend doing that before you buy it.

Yes you can, actually the device is more suited for metal-kind music than e.g. bluesy music. But you should really try the unit in a shop with your own guitar and amp if at all possible.
