I basically want something with a lot of variety of delays however I don't want my tone to be colored too much. I like the features on the Line 6 DL4 and the Boss DD-20 however I have heard that both pedals really color tone a lot. Digitech has a new line of high quality pedals called hardwire, they all have true bypass, and are supposed to have great tone. I am considering the DL8 from them, I have only seen a couple of demos and sounds good. Does anyone have any other suggestions about which delays to consider. I want to spend under $250USD and I don't want just a plain analog delay, I would like something with modulation etc but a looper is not essential. Even though I like the setup about the Line 6 better I gotta say there's something about the DD-20 that makes me like it even more! Thanks Hi, I have the MXR Carbon Copy and it's the best delay i've ever owned. I've had a bunch including rack one's and the quality of the sound is out of this world. Price is not bad either.
