What's the first rock song you ever heard, and how old were you? smile.gif

I heard "Break On Through" from Doors first, and was 6 years old! It was very strange to hear that bass line goin biggrin.gif

Wow, I have no idea, I was probably just born or something like that and I heard the Beatles, Rolling Stones or Led Zeppelin as my first rock song, but I have seriously no idea how old precisly and which song that was the first tongue.gif

I don't know the very first rock band I heard, but the first one I clearly remember hearing was Twisted Sisters' "We're Not Gonna Take It." I was about four years old, and I loved it so much my mom recorded it for me so I could replay the video over and over again biggrin.gif I've been a metal head ever since \m/

I've got the intro to that video permanently ingrained in my mind.

"What do you wanna do with your life?!"

"I wanna rock!" *Strums enormous Power chord*

Well my uncle had me listening to Zeppelin, Sabbath, Fleetwood Mac and scores of other bands for as long as I can remember but I think the first song I sort of found on my own was Billy Idol's "White Wedding". I fell in love with Billy, I believe I use to say I was going to marry him when I grew up.... since I haven't really grown up I'm holding out for this to still come true laugh.gif wink.gif I was 5 I think when I first heard this song and it's still a favourite of mine.

Also had to add the acoustic version from Story tellers... Steve Stevens is AWESOME!!! figured out how to play the song from this video smile.gif

Yep.. I think my other half Ninna had the same idea when she was growing up. She's still convinced Billy is a virgin and saving himself for the right girl ! laugh.gif

You mean he's not ohmy.gif biggrin.gif

I think every girl had the same idea when it came to Billy. And he's still hot... talk about getting better with age... anyways... sorry guys for my little girly rant tongue.gif

And Ivan The Storytellers shows were great. Not just Billy's either... although I think his was my favourite. I much prefer them then MTV Unplugged, although there was some good ones there too.
