Hi to all here at GMC!!

My Name is mike. I have been playing guitar for about a year and a half now. I play mostly modern rock and blues with a strong ampition to learn Jazz. Within 4 months of learning how to play I was inserted in a 4 piece rock band playing some rythem and occassional lead. Thankfully I am taking a break to better learn and understand my axe. I currently play on a Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster QMT HSS. I just sold my Fender Supersonic amplifier and currently in the market for a new one. That's about it. Any Joe Bonamassa fans here?

Thanks!! I am looking very forward to sharing ideas and learning here. I just recently discovered Joe Bonamassa. I now have 6 of his albums. Anyone seen him in concert? He's got a great voice.

I had a great teacher. Now If I could just learn to be more creative. All my stuff sounds really.......i don't know, the same I guess. I am trying to think more outside of the box but not having much right now. Guess it will just come in time. Thanks!!

Thanks. Here's a recent picture of me with my Fender Strat. Love the guitar but not wild about that color. Will be adding
a Parker at some point.
