Hi. I've been checking out the free video lessons for a while and a good friend of mine bought me a subscription here as an early christmas present. I'm a full time literature student (University of Victoria, in Victoria, BC)/part time cook, all around nerd who loves heavy metal. I took lessons from an instructor and didn't really feel they helped me because they were only half an hour at a time. I am going through lessons as I can. A messed up schedule doesn't allow me to play as often as I'd like. Anyways it's good to be here. I have two guitars, an electric and acoustic. People tell me it's better to learn on acoustic so I plan to practice most things using it.
Also can someone tell me how to put a little picture of myself on the left hand part of this message?

Welcome,
I practice quite a few things on acoustic btw and usually find it makes going back to an electric easier.

Cheers,
Tony

So I finally have time to come back and type something else. Something else. As to the pirate comment, no, Aarggh is a name of my character on World of Warcraft on the Akama server. He's a 70 fury warrior biggrin.gif
