You have a cool voice, just need some practice to make some notes more stable. There are some timing issues between both guitars in the intro as you said but I like the arpeggios played there. Recording covers in this way is a great training for your guitar playing, your singing, your recording and composition abilities, so keep on doing this stuff and you will note how much your grow as a musician.
