It's not a bad idea. However I don't think it's very suitable for the masterclass, as this kind of thing really doeasn't require any video.
Basically, all you need to do is pick a powertab from a song you like that's rhythmically simple (no Meshuggah!). Learn the basic note values. Then just analyse your powertab from that perspective and you will get rolling in no time. /Kris |

You can get a good foothold on note reading with a teacher and some basic books. A teacher really is good for making sure you fully understand it.
