Original lesson: Beginner Solo in D by Muris Varajic

Hi guys, still trying to get more into the bending and vibrato business... thanks for any advice!

1 Sep 2011
Hi again, here's my next recording.

It's the Slow Soloing lesson by Trond Vold.

I've been practicing this one for about a week and since I'm on vacation right now, this means some considerable time invested. Unfortunately I never really practiced bending and vibrato-stuff before I came here, so this was very hard for me and I feel there's still a long road ahead of me, especially with the vibratos which still tend to control me rather than the other way round.
The bendings I think worked more or less fine on this take, although I later noticed that the big one at 0:30 is not only out of tune (as it was most of the time) but also out of timing (which worked fine on other takes). The rest of the take reflects my abilities quite well.

Having this said, I obviously have to keep on practicing this stuff - if it's gonna be with the lesson or one of the next ones is totally up to you wink.gif

Hi guys, here's another one!

I mainly chose this lesson to distract me from the slow soloing lesson which hopefully will be ready very soon. In the meantime I wanted to do something not so hard and since this is a punk lesson I though 'what could possibly go wrong?' and gave it a shot wink.gif

Again thanks to anyone for your good advice! - I'm actually really glad that I finally subscribed here smile.gif

Ok guys, you wanted it - you get it! tongue.gif

As you can see, this is my second try on Adrian's lesson, hopefully it turns out well rolleyes.gif

I focused mostly on the vibrato stuff, which I think became a little better this time. I also tried to improve the overall sound and although I'm not perfectly happy with that I like it a lot more than in the first video.

In case anyone cares to compare my first try can be found here!

As always many thanx in advance for your suggestions!

Hi folks,

this is my second contribution.

Zeppelin Black Riffing Lesson

I wanna thank everyone for your feedback on my first lesson! While some things I had noticed myself while seeing my video (timing towards the end), other issues mentioned were actually quite eye-opening since I didn't receive a lot of feedback during the last years (hitting the strings harder). Although it seems that I will pass that last lesson I really think I will post it again soon, to see if I can improve on what you said...

Oh, and to avoid any further confusion - I am right handed! Somehow the webcam always turns me around so I made sure to fix it this time :-)
