Yes, maybe the activity has gone down.

I'm sad, that the virtual bands are not producing right now

no it's not depressing, gmc has got more lessons then ever on this site,
The chat's are getting fuller every evening. Indeed the forum's arent what they used to be but
I think people are spending more time with lessons, Even though I also miss persons like marcus lavendell
and muris varijec, but they did a good job, and we can still enjoy the lessons they made.

I think it also has to do with the creditcard option here at gmc, you have to have a credit cards otherwise you
need to pay for a year or so in one time. In Europe I think that there aren't much people with creditcards nor people that
want to make a big investment in one time.

And last but not least, we are in a crisis. Think of people without a job, the first thing they can save on is
hobby's.

overall I think GMC does it's ultimate best of trying to help guitarist. Even in bad times.

I have noticed a slight drop in forum activity as well, but I just kind of assumed that it was due to all the mentoring threads. Don't get me wrong, I think the various mentoring activities of the instructors here at GMC is a great feature and provides a unique experience in learning how to play guitar through online lessons, but it also probably channels some forum activity towards the mentoring threads and away from the main forums.

I completely agree.

I just remember days when there would be some many users talking about everything.

However, it is good if users being paying more attention to learning guitar and talking less.

I was only joking around with everyone Cosmin wink.gif I just was noticing that there isn't much activity on the forums anymore. I don't think I'm not encountering anything here, I was just trying to get some chat going tongue.gif
