Hahhaha I need one of those smile.gif

Especially to sort the cables mess I have around my music gear and prepare the recording setup.
Getting everything out, connecting cables etc is really putting me down when I have to record and I tried to make the setup as simple as possible.

Wonder how long we'll depend to cables btw?

Wireless is the way to go when it comes to practicality, just like a Mac computer - you plug in one cable like the house appliance and you are good to go, everything else is wireless. Do people use wireless systems for recording and connecting pieces of gear? I also wonder which future technologies will come out, for example will it be possible to make a wireless connection between music gear using bluetooth connection?

Every time I reconnect my computer, I ask the same thing to myself, when it will be normal to have wireless computers? I hate to have lots of cables hiden behind the computer. mad.gif

I don't think the cables will be replaced anytime soon, when it comes down to recording, but having a tech crew for the stage and studio is priceless. I cannot thank our road crew enough for how easy they make things for us. Yesterday for instance, it took us 20 minutes tops to get ALL our gear offstage and into the band van, in perfect order with every cable nicely coiled and every piece of gear tucked in and ready for a bumpy 12 hours ride back to Bucharest.
