Hey guys, i love music, i love melody, but i also love some good lyrics on a song, i don't like the rock n roll macho type songs too much, or the romantic predictable ballad from bon jovi, ok, i gotta admit i love "i'll be there for you", but that's a whole different story, because mr richie sambora made an incredible job on that one.
So my question is, because i wanna listen to more, who are your favorite lyric song writers? i can share some of my own and i hope you google up the lyrics to see more All of these are genius in my opinion, in no particular order. Alex Turner - The Arctic Monkeys Bob Dylan anyone? Jim Morrison - The Doors i would love to see new ones -------------------- Check my Instructor Profile Rockers! For Lyrics Johnny Cash has some really good ones...I like Todd Agnew also.
Iron Maiden told great stories in their albums and I liked how they weave each song together. |

Not sure, it depends on the person, I always like those mystical lyrics that you can find with Hendrix, Morrison, Zep, and other bands. You just dunno what they were talking about (who knows if they knew as well back in those days ), but it sounds right.
