Need Help With Backing For Solo |

i have this song that i have been working on for a while and i made a solo for it finally , but i dont know what chords should back the solo , because the solo is not related to my main riff too much . I want a backing that emphasizes chord tones ,but when i plan it out that way i just get lost and it seems like there is too many chords in the backing . i have provided two rough takes of my solo if that helps . Im not too great at guitar but i love making my own songs and id appreciate the help. Thank you very much =]
