I got a new toy in the mail today so I can finally record now. So for the last few hours I've been playing with it trying to figure everything out and this is what I came up with. I want your honest opinion whether or not its any good. Keep in mind that I've only been playing for about 10 months, without further ado here's my horrible song.

A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that I was going to get a new guitar for graduation, and I had decided to go with the standard strat. Then I found this http://www.instrumentpro.com/P-FEN1134700.html its a standard strat with a floyd rose, I didn't even know they made these. I was wondering if anyone has used one or even owns one and what they think about it.

For graduation my parents said that they are willing to buy me a new guitar. I have a $500 dollar limit and I was thinking about getting an Ibanez RG350DX or a Schecter C1 with a Floyd Rose. I was just wondering does anyone have any suggestions on what to get, I pretty much play everything except for jazz and heavy metal.

I've been looking to buy an audio interface for my computer and I was wondering what type of interface is considered the best firewire, usb, sound card, or is it just preference? Also what would you recommend for $200 or less.

Hey Kris,

I have been playing for a couple of months now and I'm currently in the process of learning speed picking. When I play I tend to rest my hand on the body of the guitar, but I've read on a different website that your not supposed to do that. So have I playing incorrectly or should I just do what feels comfortable?
