Firstly I've expanded my Landscaping Business and was very busy taking on more work than maybe I should! I now have a few guys sub-contracting to me so my work-load has eased a bit, which is good. Finding people who work in the same way as me and share an eye for detail was quite a hard task but I'm happy with them all so far. Secondly, I went on Tour again, with 3 bands, as every ones Guitar Tech!! A bit manic at times but enjoyable none the less but with the promise of more work with each Band as and when needed and I can fit it in. I have also started another couple of Builds for people. Thirdly, when time has allowed I've been in the Rehearsal Studio with 2 Bands practicing for some Gigs around Christmas time. One is a straight out Blues Band and the other is an 80's Hair Metal Band that I've done quite a few Charity Gigs with over the years! And lastly (and possibly more importantly) I have embarked on a new relationship with a new girlfriend. She is every bit as into music and Bikes as I am and it all seems to be going rather well at the moment! So, as you can see, it's all been a bit mad around Chez Jones but is now all calming down into a manageable situation (I hope!!) I shall be around a bit more often again now!! I did do WOMAD for 26 years, but unfortunately they outsourced our jobs to a different operator so we were all laid off. Got in as Full VIP Guests the year after, but then didn't go last year and just missed this year. Got offered some half-price tickets but only on the Weds before by which time it was a bit too late to organise things and I had already made plans for that weekend. I did get a nice phone call from some of my ex -work colleagues who were there and we're all thinking of meeting up there next year! I will hopefully post some stuff from both Bands as and when we have something worth posting!! Nice to hear that you're not stagnating mate!
