Muris do you ever do eight finger tapping where you descend the scale by doing pull offs with your right hand a well as your left? I have seen you do hammer-ons quite a bit but I can't recall seeing you do pull-off runs. I am almost ready to post a take of your lydian and phrygian lessons. I am still trying to conquer you hybrid technique. It is coming along pretty well though. I am trying to discipline myself to get at least some of your picking licks down in the phrygian and lydian lessons before I post. Although on your lydian lesson I am gonna have to change a couple of licks, like the insane alternate picked string skipping lick. I would like to be able to post a take before I die so I am gonna have to resort to legato for that lick. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif Hope all is well with you!!

Hi Monte. smile.gif

Truth is, I don't play 8 fingers tapping that often, at least not in the lessons here.
I do use it live from time to time and when I do I must
perform pull-offs as well if it's descending lick.
The only clip that I can point you at atm
is probably my Dean Contest entry
where a played a bit longer tapping lick including pull-offs.
And if you're having problems with it it's just fine,
I also have problems with that
and everyone else who ever tried 8 fingers tapping
will agree with us, not an easy task. wink.gif

Looking forward to your Lydian lesson take tho,
feel free to adapt any lick if needed but try not to turn it upside down! smile.gif

I'll try my best not to butcher it laugh.gif laugh.gif Only changed a few notes in the last lick. Other than that notes are the same just technique used to play them is changed. We can't all be masters at every technique like some people on this board. laugh.gif laugh.gif
