Hi Eric,

Here is your first individual assignment for the MTP:

Assignment #1 - CompleteNewbie

Lesson

As you have already completed the first two lessons as mentioned in the Syllabus, I would like to continue with the 3rd assignment from it.

We are going to focus in this assignment on doing some solo-work.

You can choose any of these 3 lessons to work on this week:

John Frusciante Style Lesson (easiest one)
Slow Pentatonics Lesson (most difficult one)
Tarantella Rock - Traditional Folk Dance (difficult parts)

I would like you to work through the lesson, and if at all possible record as much of the lesson you choose as possible (but at least about 20 seconds).

Try to seperate the solo into small parts and work on them until you have memorized them at slow speed, and gradually speed it up. Listen very carefully to the lesson regarding timing and such and try to reproduce the lesson as good as possible.

Deadline
Please let me know which lesson you choose as soon as possible. I would appreciate if you could upload your take at the latest on the 5th of March if at all possible. Please let me know how you are progressing during the week.

Good luck!!! smile.gif

sorry for the delay Roger

Will try and upload the video by this weekend. I have opted for the John Frusciante Style Lesson.

I too have had problems with my web cam.

I will be using my video cam from now on.

Eric

Hi Eric,

Was wondering how things are progressing after your PM to re-start the MTP a couple of weeks ago?

Cheers
Roger
