Quick recovery wishes!!
The next time I drop a wine glass and between it slips from my hand until it strikes the table I will recall this warning and make a desicion to not catch it. Might be difficult, my guess is that it takes quite some practice to kill a reflex

Good thing you didn't post a picture... I just can't stand wounds involving fingers somehow. Maybe time to try a thimble - Iommi-style? might give the thimble idea a go. how ever not for drinking my wine out of. i was however thinking about changing to one of these for my alcohol imbibing requirements. not only does it solve the potential glass injury issue but has many other advantages such as leaving hands free for other activities (i.e guitar playing, Xbox etc...) and can also be used for a variety of liquids; red wine for instance or even beer (or fizzy pop for those that are under 18)

Oh, that's bad.
Did you get your finger stitched? Last year I almost sliced of my left middle finger tip with an x-acto knife. Got it stitched, and now it's still kind of numb. So, always be careful, sharp objects can easily, in a second make years of practicing worth nothing, not to mention other consequences that can affect your everyday life. I hope that all turns well. |
