Anyone play any? There usually better than ones you have to pay for, and they don't require you to dump massive amounts of hours in, Just fun to play whenever you can for an hour or two. I'm starting a new character on Hero Online, and here are some more I've tried out.

Archlord
Darkeden (Diablo fans will feel at home)
Hero Online
Cabal Online
Silkroad
Rappelz
Legend Of Ares
Knights Online
Anarchy Online (first one is now free)

Relatively small in the space they take up to, Just some fun ones to kill some time at night or something.

Apart from Rappelz (which Daniel and me gave a thumbs up to as well on another thread) the same company make a couple of others called 'Corum' and 'Flyff'. Not sure what they're like though.

Hero is good, and I liked the medieval Japanese type theme to it but I haven't played it for a while - lost my internet connection when we moved and forgot all about it ohmy.gif .

Any good Sci Fi Space Opera free ones around - like Eve etc?

Cheers,
Tony

I try to stay away from mmorpg's these days, i spent too much time playing Asheron's call back in the day and WoW later down the road!, I don't regret Asheron's Call days though, best game I ever played, no doubt!

I guess they are too adictive for me, I'm tempted to try some of the new ones out there, but I guess I rather play guitar now wink.gif

I like these though cause you dont need to spend a lot of time on it to keep up with it, I can still happily squeeze in 2-3 or even 4 hours on a good day of guitar practice smile.gif

Ive played Maplestory, Flyff, Rappelz, and Silkroad (China & Europe), although the only two I played for extended time were Rappelz and Silkroad.

I found that the grinding in SRO just became too much eventually though, and Rappelz was too similar. I think the next MMORPG I'll play is Guild Wars 2 when it comes out as it just looks great so far.
