Just go a little question about holding the pick. I know that there are no "right" way but I think I´m doing a very strange thing.
When I hold my pick I hold it in an angle so the tip of the pick are above the bottom.
Should it be in a straight line with the strings?
For example if I play
So when I go from a lower sring to a hgher I mo my pick hand down but the tip of the pick are pointing some upwards which are causing me to get stuck in the string.
In lower speed I can handle this preety ok my maybe its one of the reasons I don´t improve much in speed.
I hope you understand this. I´m at work and can´t post a pick of it as this point.

I think I understand what you are doing here - I suspect you have little problem strumming down but have problems with the upstroke because your pick is angled upwards. I think a lot of people do this but they change the angle of the pick on the upstroke (so that it is angled downwards). I also suspect there are a number of players that keep it more or less level as well. To do this, you have to have some play in your wrist (and lesser extent with your fingers).
The more common practice is to angle the front of the pick downwards which helps some people increase their speed and angle of attack. However, it is not a requirement and some again keep it level (I believe Muris is one example).
I think the solution is to keep pick straight with the strings, check out this video for some insights, and if you can, post some video of you playing, so we can really see what's going on.
That is a very nice video Ivan - helps alot! Particularly the circle picking part - a friend of mine does that particularly for fast rhythm which to me seems so effortless and smooth - when I explain to him that he is picking in circles, he doesn't believe me but what Eric was explaining is exactly what he does - something I have been trying to do myself.
Sure, this was insightful for me when I first saw it. I think this video is a clear proof that no matter what technique you use, if you practice enough it will sound awesome. It's all about practice, the refinement of the technique goes along the way.
Very cool video that should definitely be a help for everybody with questions about how to pick.
