has anyone ever used ebony wood guitar picks, I bought a set of 4, not for the wood tone, but for the razor sharp tips on them..i hope this will help with me picking hand.

Can't say I have. I have only tried the plastic picks. I have tried Vpicks before but they are too rigid and squeaky in the mix.

I'm a huge Vpicks fan been using them since 2008 I go for the stiletto and the small pointed. I do have a Von Hotch pick which is great for soloing and riffs but not so good for strummy rhythm playing
