Hi mate! Thanks for your feedback. Here we go with an update to the routine. I basically made changes in the AP section since I think that you still can use the other techniques exercises for training. There is also an addition for Legato. Check it out an tell me what you think!

Sweep Picking training - 20 minutes

Practice each exercise isolated as a loop over metronome.

2 Strings Sweeps: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...showtopic=43083 (5 minutes)
3 Strings Sweeps: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...showtopic=43281 (5 Minutes)

Learn this lesson:
Neoclassical Sweeping & Legato (10 minutes)

Rest a few minutes between exercises and relax your hand.

Use this time more freely. Here are some ideas:

Hi Gab!
One little update.
Things working fine and I practice the AP patterns almost every day. There are many patterns in the crossing strings. Still need to work on speed but it getting better I can feel. I also take the crossing string excercise and going through the 5 boxes in the pentascale. On B and E string only. Need to get comfortable to the penta shapes and this is good training:)
Piotrs "Move your little finger" is moving slowly forward and I am soon on 90 bpm.
So AP excercise takes the most of my time but I do not forget to spend time on the legato and sweep also.

I can play all the shapes on the legato but to get it fully clean and fast is HARD! But time will tell:)
Time is my only issue but I do the best I can at the moment.

I feel I still need time on this, especially AP. Shall I continue with the rest?

Hopefully I can get a upload rec of ur neoclassic sweep and legato lesson before christmas wink.gif Hopefully....

I wish I had more time but lets do the best of this!

// Thomas

that's what I suspected. Ok, so we should adapt the routine to that amount of time. How are you doing it?

For now I do warmup about 5 minutes going through the 7th chord progression u gave me and some chromatic patterns.
Then I mainly go for AP like 40 minutes with crossing strings and the different patterns in there. And Piotrs "move ur little finger".
Then I go for the legato lesson for about 15 minutes or so.

This pattern I dont understand. How do u play it without a picstroke when u go back to e-string from b-string. Only left hand? I cant smile.gif https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...st&id=26149

Then sweeping about 15 minutes.. Thats basically how it looks like right now. But maybe u have a better schedule? Please let me know smile.gif
Otherwise it works fine with the routine u gave me. I just ajust it to the amount of time I have.

Not only with left hand, I pick the E string every time I get back to it. Check the picking info in this tab:

That looks interesting!
But we are still focusing on the lessons u give personally?
Still the same thing but I just follow the differnt time to each technique?

I would need a theory thing then wink.gif

One thing I have always wanted but never had the patience to do is to learn where EVERY note is on the fretboard.. Do u have any smart schedule on that?

I will try ur idea however. It might suite me well smile.gif

Hi Gab!

To be honest, I have been extremely lazy in the beginning of this year in practising sad.gif

The positiv thing is that I have been written and trying to create something of my own. I have a lot of ideas and are trying to put the puzzle together:)

The things I have been playing is https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Sweep-...-7th-Arpeggios/
and https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/move_y...le_finger!/

I'm planning to learn these 2 completely cause I love the sound and the technique in these both lessons!

I would need maybe another legato lesson and some more AP lessons:)
Got anything in mind??
