Hey everybody,
Had a request to do a pedal demo of a Digitech Bad Monkey vs a Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive Pedal. Here are the results: |

Thanks cool demo. I like the sound of the Bad Monkey better, it's smooth, articulated and blends well. The Boss sounds a bit harch at times, don't know if it's the camera or the actual case.

I never tried the Bad Monkey, but I used SD extensively on gigs, and it goes along with every guitar amp I used it with. You cannot make a mistake with it. The only downside is that it adds lot of mids and takes out some bass out, so some mod could be better to get.

Nice video review!
I like both, but I believe Monkey has an extra with that greatly responsive eq control. -------------------- Guitars:
