Hey mate how are you?
This week i will make the country backing track online.

For now i recored an improvisation where i focused on chord tones.
The progression was G-D-C-G-Am-C-D
I focussed on chord tones or hit the chord tones and then the pentatonic. for example on c chord c hord tones and c pentatonic.
For Am A minor chord tones and am pentatonic.
i started to feel more comfortable finding all the arpeggios over the track.
Sometimes i also blended in the whole G major scale.

Thanks a lot. It is a song which i composer with a friend a few years ago but never recorded it.
IT is the bass player of my reggae band i play together with him a lot of years.
He wrote the lyrics and we composed the song together.
IT was me singing smile.gif
I will polis the guitar solo some more. I will also focus on the bass drum and we need to mix and master the song.

Thanks man.
i will try to sing more. my band also start again and im singing also in my reggae band so i keep on practicing.

i recorded 2 things.

A latin improv where i play lead and comp. With the comping i tried to create interseting parts and also use altered dominants on the V chord.
With the lead part i treid to use sometimes the A altered scale and the A phrygian dominant scale on the V chord.

i also created a solo idea over the fast phrygian part of my arrangement. i recorded it so i can know what to play and polish smile.gif
I will focus on polishing the solo for the coming week and then try to record it in the arrangement.

Next time i will make one Rec for the comp and one for the solo.
I will also polis the fast part of the phrygian.

For now my 2 bands started again and im asked to join a jam session band so i must focus on my setlist again.
When that is on the right track ill keep moving on with the practice excersises and stuff and continue arrsnging and improvising smile.gif

Hey mate how are you?
i hope you have still good days even after the loss of your grandmother.
It is real hard too lose someone but ill hope you doing ok.

I recorded a backing track. Its just jamming but i tried to be melodic and search for some motifs in my phrasing.
In the upcoming time i will focus more on rhythm displacement and phrasing instead of note choice i think.

Thanks in advanced mate smile.gif
