Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi GMC,

Here is another lesson smile.gif

Original: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/The-Ro...-Stones-Rhythm/

My take:

It wasn't complicated but I focused on the dynamics. Trying to get the same feeling as Ivan.

Gear:

Ibanez S 470 DXQM
Amplitube
EMU 0404 USB
Logitech quickcam C200 with another sound card for audio input.
I connected the headphones output of the EMU to the line in of the other sound card.
And did some fine tuning on the volumes so this time it was more clear then the others.

Waiting the results smile.gif

Hey Rhoads, this was a groovy lesson to pick !

Ok, I'd say you had that one pretty nailed.. just points to work on are trying to stay a bit looser with your picking hand.. you look a little too 'poised' and tense.. if you loosen up it will help the rhythm flow better. The other thing is watch out for those suspended notes.. sometimes they don't ring out quite as well as they should.

The B string sounded like it was a bit out of tune.. but apart from those points it was a good performance. smile.gif

I can see improvements from the other recent takes, but as Ben said, loosen up a little and get the groove flowing smile.gif wink.gif keep it up mate!
