Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Sack! Great job here!

I think that this is a good performance of this one. You can play the whole thing clean and tight so this one obviously passes successfully. Some of my comments about 4th finger vibrato and left hand posture for your other lesson are also applicable here, so please re-check them.

The main thing that needs attention here in order to get the most from this lesson is vibrato. Notice how Emir adds strong vibrato during the whole lesson. I recommend you to play along with him and try to emulate it. It also important to remember that vibrato should start from your wrist, so it's recommendable to avoid starting the movement from your wrist when doing it.

Ok mate, keep on the good job!!

Hey there!

I enjoyed this one casue through most of your take you are confident and solid. You do not overdo the vibrato which often happens in simialr lessons due to lack of patience at the longer notes smile.gif Tonally you match the lesson quite well. You focus on pitch while bending. Your vibrato and bends is gentle and controled.

Towards the end we can spot just a few tiny moments of hesitation that affected the timing and just a few moments where open strings got out of control.

My thoughts on this take are positive. Things t ocomplain are not citical adn needs just a tiny polishing for even better grade, I belive this is a good way of developing your skills - giving the lessons proper time and attention to details. Great job

NAILED IT! Your playing is enjoyable and confident the entire way through. You memorize the entire piece very well and play it back with zeal. The only thing I would suggest is a bit more depth on your vibrato. There are some parts, where you play a single note low in the fretboard on the low E that doesn't feel like it has enough oomph on the vibrato. Single finger vibrato takes a bit of hand wag sometimes.

Overall though this is a fine take! Solid 8 from me.

Todd

I will join the choir here as you have def recorded an enjoyable take where you nail timing and tone.

We don't really expect you to nail the vibrato - but if you did give your vibrato practice a serious push - boy would you sound good!

Also, there is something happening at 00:35 - either a wrong note or an out-of-tune note (or maybe both?).

Keep up the hard work - you get an 8 from me!
