It's like waking up from the most vivid dream
You don't know if you've awoken or fallen asleep again
It's like knowing you caused the most painful end
For the most beautiful person you've ever known
Tears aren't a symbol for this sorrow anymore
Tears can't begin to express this pain
Mourning is simply not an option for me
Lamenting is not justice for his sorrow
If I could I would have died in your place
I would have bled a river if needed
But you wouldn't have this any other way
If I could I would have done it quicker
I would accepted your burden forever

And I wouldn't have you give it any other way
It's like when God falls from his throne
And you don't know who to pray to anymore
It's a pain that I cannot describe in words
A weight I bear on wings losing there strength
I regret it every single day with every breath
Straining the boundaries of my sanity
I cry in rage and frustration, Not in sorrow
Because I don't know If I can carry out
His last wishes...
If I could I would have died in your place
I would have bled a river if needed
But you wouldn't have this any other way

His body sinks slowly into the blue

Sets the mood very well, Kudos.
Tears aren't a symbol for this sorrow anymore

Still very powerful. I dont understand the correlation between you and him. It comes across as the pain of someone dieing, but really they just went away. And now it feels like there dead.

This is clearly something thats been eating away at you. You think about it alot, and you would rather be in this persons postion, then feel how your feeling.Excellent.

Makes me feel like he left, so the metaphor of he or she as "being dead" is just how it feels to you. You dont know how to take there place mainly ? So you feel extremly overwhelmed. This makes me feel like its about a divorce.

This is really strong. I dont want to make anymore guesses. I dont know how you feel, and I think thats part of the problem. Noone really does. So excepting what happened, and how your supposed to live life, without thinking and remembering that person.

Nah, its okay man. I was reading a book and there was a part in there where someone had to deal with there best friend dying, and it just reminded about a lot of stuff in my personal life which has kinda been buried under a lot of emotions, So I finally got to vent it all
