> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate! That's a rocker take!! You did a good job on this one. There are some details close to the end with the lead guitar, some bends that are not precise but the overall is good. Keep on practising the solo and you will master this one perfectly. smile.gif

Hey there my Deutschelandian friend! I say good job! The rhythm playing and the overall take sounds very good, but as Gabe said - focus at the bends at the end to have the 10 in the pocket wink.gif

Good one!! And nice Tshirt too smile.gif Some really good things going on in your playing.

1.) I see your right hand stays nice and PLANTED near the bridge. Spiff!!

2.) You are rotating the right hand instead of moving it up and down. Nice!!!!

3.) Alternate Picking is nice and even/clean. Kudos!!

You've obviously been putting in the practice!! And I can see you've taken our vid chat lessons to heart and incorporated much of what we work on! You RAWWWKK!!!

NOT A PONY FARM

Sadly, there are a few bits that keep you from a perfect score. Around 58 seconds, you miss a few of the lead licks. It's possible that your patch settings need a bit more aggressive compression, or gain, or less gate. I can see your hands moving and playing the lick, but it doesn't come through. So I can't tell if it's playing or patch!

Todd
