Decide what kind of music you want to play and search on the site for all begginers lessons. Then find the lessons that are genre related to you. The most important things for you (if you are transfering to a plectrum) are the alternate picking lessons. Find something easy and practise with a pick slowly.

Hi dreadlocks,
+1 for practice slowly and also use a metronome if you don't already. Cheers, Tony -------------------- Get your music professionally mastered by anl AES registered Mastering Engineer. Contact me for Audio Mastering Services and Advice and visit our website www.miromastering.com

A metronome is both great because it can help you to learn to play in time (and helps in understanding note duration) and also because it can help you gauge your progress for things like speed picking Dreadlocks . One of the BIG mistakes I made when first learning was playing without a metronome. I had to go back and learn how to play in time.
