> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

I've got no problems with this at all... timing was good, everything in the right place.

I would like to hear the chord arpeggios with a slightly distorted tone like Cosmin's version but that's just taste. Your performance itself was on the money smile.gif

I actually preferred the tone in your previous take of this, it sounded heavier !! rolleyes.gif But I may be the odd one out !

Hey buddy - I will be on the opposite side of Ben, as I like this tone a lot more smile.gif It's cleaner and it has more definition - I think I found out what the problem with that note was - you must have the old backing which had a wrong note there and I corrected it a few months ago smile.gif If you will download the backing again you will see that everything falls into place.

You know my thoughts - I think you could be a bit more balanced with this one so it's gonna be 9 from me smile.gif

Keep rocking and see you around!

Cosmin

Hi mate! Good take! I think that the rhythm guitar is very well played and the only weird thing that I hear is happening in the clean arpeggios played in the middle where I can note some notes sound muted. If you fix that, this will be a 10.

Keep on rocking. wink.gif

As many people as different opinions. Not taking the tone matter on the desk but the proportion guitar-backing track could be with more guitar priority. I can suspect some right hand picking direction issue but I'm not sure because You hand motion is blurried on the video.
